Your initial appointment usually includes an examination and review of treatment options. Treatment may begin the same day when appropriate. A detailed medical history or complex treatment plan may require an evaluation and a follow-up visit for treatment.
Please bring:
- Recent radiographs from another office, if available.
- A list of medications you take.
- Completed dental insurance forms if applicable — this speeds claim processing.
Patients under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Tell us before treatment if you have conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, artificial heart valves or joints, rheumatic fever, or if you take medications such as blood thinners or heart medications.
X-rays
Your previous dentist or physician can forward recent films to our office. If timing is tight, pick them up and bring them with you. We can take additional radiographs here when needed.
